I came here with a friend for the Wellington on a Plate promotion. Two courses and a glass of wine for $25 (lunch) - wow! I started with the delicious chestnut and sage soup - I don't usually try soup but this was great. For the main we both had the Tuatara beer-battered market fish (terakihi) with spiced wedges and tartare sauce (and salad). Very nice. A lovely glass of Te Kairanga sauvignon blanc. My friend picked up the tab - does lunch get any better?
