So dissapointed by this establishment. We went there on a Sunday. The establishment on Cuba St. looks great with all the different fish on display (something we do not get at home - Ireland). We went in and got our fish and chips. Either one of the owners (or a member of the owner's family) was in too and boy did everyone have to hear about it. He was ordering the staff in a manner that I found unappealing when I'm trying to eat my food. There was a family group with him that took up most of the small seating area.
The fish was fresh but the batter was tasteless. The coleslaw side that comes with the fish was bland. Chips were like oven chips - pointless! There are better places to get fish and chips in New Zealand. This place has too much hype.
