“One of our favourites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Visiting Talk of India is just like coming home. This is a regular eating place for us and over the years we have come to know Pradeep and his family very well. The welcome is always warm and obliging. Oh yes and the food is outstanding. All of the dishes are flavoursome and the meats tender. The Onion Bhaji is the best around. Invariably there is food left over and it is no trouble for us to take it away. Other Indian restaurants can offer good food but you will go a long way to find better service than at the Talk of India.

“Always great”

I eat here every time I'm in town for business. Great, friendly, fast service. I'm a huge butter chicken fan and this is possibly the best in the country.

“Good meal, reasonable price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

I had a hot dish & my partner a mild vegetarian meal. Both were good & the garlic naan also nice. It was a quiet night and the service was friendly & helpful. The wine was basic & quite expensive.

“Friendly & Tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

We went for dinner based on the reviews here on TA and expected it to be very expensive but quite the opposite was true. At $30 each for the "banquet" we enjoyed 3 entrees and 4 delicious curries. The owner Pradeep made himself known to us and I inquired if the restaurant had changed hands recently (saw this on an earlier review on TA) and this certainly is not the case. At the end of the meal he gave us 2 complimentary old tawny ports and he came over with an old diary for us to record our birthdays and addresses in - so he can send out our complimentary meal on your birthday vouchers. A most enjoyable evening and we wish Pradeep every success he deserves in his business. Highly recommended.
