“A great find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Normally we would head for the water front, but were thrilled to find the Elizabeth. Great location, heaps of raking, great coffee and food. What more could you ask for. Didn't have a hot chocolate but man they looked impressive.

“Great addition to Tauranga scene”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Had a Saturday lunch here recently with children and their grandmother and all of us were happy. I enjoyed my dahl fritters, she really liked her duck salad and the children were very happy with their nutella pancakes and ham & cheese toasted sandwich respectively (and the opportunity to design their own Russian doll patterns on the back of the menus). Excellent service and an interesting wine list as well. As an earlier review said, a slight twist on some favourites. I gather it's very busy during weekday lunchtimes, and my mother-in-law said she's found it v noisy then. But still - would happily come again and look forward to trying out the evening menu.

“Better than expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

Went to dinner with friends visiting Tauranga. Dinner was a first for us at the cafe, but have enjoyed day time experience many times. Was concerned that the evening experience wouldn't be as good as day time, but better than we expected. Great small menu with fresh flavours. Staff great with detail and friendly. Will be back. Fantastic to go somewhere and be able to catch up with friends with great food, atmosphere and be able to talk without huge noisey environment.

“Eclectic Elizabeth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

Something for everyone judging by the range of people who were then when we met friends for lunch. The wait staff were friendly and helpful and help creat a great atmosphere. Food was great with a slight twist on some favourites. Busy but not noisy, and interesting. Great to have something a bit different in Tauranga!

“loved it- will be back again and again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

this place is great!!
Staff are so nice, food selction is wide, prices to suit all budgets, and it is damn tasty
One of tauranga's newest places, in a very modern setting
Watch the traffic or sit and talk, small tables, big tables, comfy chairs, in or out
Yes it has a lot of choice and a lot of options, and all are worth popping in to experience
