We stayed here over a weekend in July. Got a lovely room with an attached spa. The owners are super friendly and helpful with their recommendations. Rooms are quite nice and we had one with a view of the lake and the mountain. The owner recommended dinner at a place called the Bantry - which was spectacular

We styed in a groun floor 2 bedroon apartment. The staff were very helpful on arrival giving me some very valuable local information on which tourist attractions were value for money. The apartment was brilliant, 2 seperate bedrooms to go with the main room. Parking at the door. I would highly recommend the 2 bed apartment.

We stayed 3 nights recently in 1 bedroom spa upstairs unit. Very spacious and views over Taupo town and Lake.
Spotlessly clean.
Only a 2 or 3 blocks to town so not too far to walk.
The unit is superbly equipped with everything you need.
The spa was wonderful.
Very quiet units even though they were full or nearly full each night.
Comfy beds, the only thing for the bedroom would be great if the curtains had black out lining on them as it is not very dark for sleeping.
The service from the owners was exceptional.
We left all our clothes in the wardrobe and when we were half way home received a call from Sue. She put the clothes on the courier service and we received them 2 days later. Thought that was pretty awesome.
I rang the motel and was given a cheaper rate than was advertised on the web.
Would certainly go back.

Sue & Don are great hosts and they make you feel at home here. I stayed here for 2 weeks while trying to find a house to rent in Taupo, it is a close walk to town and a very quiet hotel even on weekends. If you are staying for a few days there is a outdoor grill by the pool that is quite handy if you get sick of eating takeaway. Very friendly, clean and quiet place with everything in Taupo accessible by foot.
