Great stay whilst on business in Taupo. The managers left the unit all ready for my arrival as it was late in the evening. Nice warm under floor bathroom tiles. Very quiet as the bedroom was back from the road. Beautiful lake views.

Karen was a friendly host that looked after our every need beyond the ordinary motel. They even found some toys and activities for our little boy. The lake view room was awesome. The position on the lake is fantastic. It is probably a 20min walk to town, but the distance does make it quieter and is no problem with a car.

Karen and Richard deserve to be praised for the operation.

We stayed here overnight on our way from Wellington to Rototura. The folks were friendly and helpful at reception and check in was quick. I liked being not quite so close to the centre of town - things were a little quieter. The view of the lake was awesome - to wake up and see Lake Taupo spreading out before me was marvellous. We had a room at the front of the property and it's a bit noisy with traffic noise - I'd stay here again, but make sure that I had a room further back, but that still had a view.

We stayed here after being recommended by the very helpful lady at the information bureau.
Booked the 2 bedroom apartment at the rear of the property but being upstairs gave a fabulous view of the lake. Richard was most helpful and friendly at check in. Everything was clean and in perfect condition, all the appliances we used worked, free wifi a great bonus to catch up emails etc. a little more than we planned to spend at $280 a night but if you were two couples or a family then great value. Nevertheless worth the extra for the comfort and space.
