“Stonegrills very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This is a regular of mine. I like going for the stonegrills, great meal with a variety of meat/chicken/seafood. Also though the lambshanks on the menu are to die for. The wine list is good. Casual dining with very friendly staff, usually pretty popular but you don't always have to book.

“Fine family fare (including gluten free)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012 via mobile

Two mums and 5 kids under 12, 2 needing gluten-free food got well looked after here on a rainy night in Rotorua. Good kids menu including GF options, stone grill as mentioned was fun, nice wines, reasonable prices (maybe just compared to Western Australia) and friendly staff made it relaxed for all of us. Would recommend particularly for those with kids who are picky eaters / have specific requirements.

“Punches above its weight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

A rainy Monday night in Rotorua. Left the phone and trip advisor at the hotel accidentally. Seat of the pants decision which turned out well. Looked in the windows of many other restaurants on rotorua's "eat street" and they all looked a bit sad and empty. This place had a few tables full of folks who were actually cracking a smile. They were right. Cheery wait staff, carefully cooked food with some zingy fresh flavour combos, laid back cafe atmosphere. Slightly pricier than others around here but recommended.
