“Gorgeous Wildlife Park and Very Friendly Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

My Hubby and I went to Paradise Valley Springs on the 5th November 2013..This wildlife park is so well maintained and the most friendly helpful and informative staff...We were like big kids feeding the animals and just loved the layout and the beautiful walkways and all the different types of animals and they were so well looked after.. The highlight of the visit was seeing the lions being fed and the informative talk about them and the biggest highlight was being able to pat two gorgeous lion cubs and having our photos with them...Many thanks to all the staff for giving us a lifetime of magical memories to take back to Australia we hope to return one day.

“Make time for this special place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

This was my favourite activity that I did in Rotorua. It is a stunning place, with so many animals with great characters, but also friendly, informative staff. The lion feeding is wonderful, and patting the lion cubs after was really cool. Ducks and ducklings roam around, the deer will eat out of your hand ( so do buy some food). I was lucky there were heaps of newborn animals around. Loved it!

“An afternoon well spent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

MY Husband and I visited Paradise Valley Springs at the weekend. W really enjoyed ourselves. At 2.30 they feed the Lions and give you a run down on the lions. THen they bought out 2 absolutely gorgeous cubs that we could pat . They where so cute.
We then walked through the rest of the park which was well maintained andhad a variety of animals in it. We paricularly liked the kea, the possums and the fresh spring water that we could drink. They had some very good trout in the stream to.
We had a couple of hours to fill in while we where in Rotorua and the couple of hours we spent at paradise Valley was great. The Rhododanrums where amazing.

“Pat a Lion cub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Not many places where you can get to pat a lion cub but you can here ( Depending on current breeding successes , of course ! ). Lovely location , very clean and well organised and run . Good selection of NZ wildlife and general animals , you can get up very close and personal with the Keas . The mineral water bottled onsite is pretty unique too.
