“Can't go wrong with petting lion cubs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Was a great experience and since it was on a quiet day (a monday) we got to spend quite a lot of time with the lion cubs. Unfortunately it was the last day before the lion cubs were to integrated with the rest of the pride as they are now over a year old.

Was also great fun feeding the other animals including deer, goats, a donkey, trout, some very pushy ducks and a cute pig that opens its mouth for you to throw food pellets in.

“Lion Cubs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

This is the second time we have been here and our daughter had just as much fun feeding the trout and wallabies as patting the lion cub. The cafe could probably be a bit more exciting by offering espresso coffee but ultimately you are here for the animal experience.

“Beautiful place but lion patting very misleading!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The lay out of the park is stunning the walk with the trout river is beautiful but we mainly went as they allow you to pat the lion cubs, (we have done this in S Africa before and were in the area with the lions, next to them) and as the picture on their leaflet advertising it shows a person with the lion we thought great lets give it a go but no the lions are in a tiny cage and you stick your hand through the wire - not as advertised and not as expected - felt bad for the cubs to be in such a small place with everyone piling in and taking and lots of hands on them. Price is quite high.
The cafe has very little food so eat before or take a picnic.

“up close to the animals”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

nice walk in the native bush, very close the animals. Also was greqt to actually pat a lion cub. A little expensive to get in but if you can afford it and they have the cubs there it is worth it.

“Cruel way to display and play with the lion cubs”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

I was not impressed with the conditions or how some of the staff handled the lion cubs and even mention not to go near one as he was a little grumpy today. If this was the case why not put him away. The enclosure that the lions were in was also not very well sheltered at all. It was good that you could walk aroun the entire enclosure but not very nice for the animals.
