Owner description: The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers developed the first operation in the world in Rotorua back in 1997. Rotorua remains the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre activity. With a new site just 5 minutes from the town centre with a hill that is almost twice as long, you can ride with 1, 2 or 3 people inside the same H2OGO (with warm water in winter or cool water in summer),race against your friends, or try the Harness OGO where you are securely strapped in and sent rolling head over heels through the trees down our custom designed harness track.OR … try our BRAND NEW ride; THE FISHPIPE!A new and unique type of water ride where you slide for over 600 metres! Further than the longest water-slide in the world!Up to 3 riders, 75 litres (20 gallons) of water and a barrel that spins at up to 45 revolutions per minute (although we can slow it right down for the kids and those of you with nervous dispositions.)If you’re riding solo, you can slide, try to run inside, or even try surfing on your feet. With 2 or 3 riders inside you slip and slide together in a tangled mess ... backwards, sideways, frontwards, upside-downwards and whose-foot-is-that-in-my-mouthwards.Open 364 days from 9:00 to 5:00pm in all weather conditions, do not miss out on this unique New Zealand invention. No bookings necessary.

“The Absolute Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

It may costa few $$ but you must do at least 2 runs down if not more. It was so much fun and we went on a chilly overcast day with some rain! You soon forget that when your flying down a hill in a giant inflatable ball. They have the longest run available and its way better than the others in the area!!

“AWESOME!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

This has to be the best Zorbing in Rotorua! We did the sidewinder and it was amazing so much fun and such a thrill! The best part was sitting in the hot tub before and after a run that was really nice! We got a pretty awesome deal through Naked Activities but if you don't get a good deal it can be pricey. They take photos of you and you get to film yourself with a waterproof go-pro which is quite cool but again you have to buy it to keep it, but they let you watch it at the end so that's cool!

“Good fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2014

Its not a must, but is good fun and not so expensive. If you book from the YHA reception, you can get a discount. Its a shame that the videos and photos that they take of you are so expensive, but the activity itself its not so expensive.

“Good thing to do in Rotrua”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

I did the OGO in Rotorua. It was very fun and highly recommended. They give you a go pro and then sell you the video at the end. They take pics too. The video and pics are pretty expensive, better to use your own go pro and have a friend take pics.

The staff were very friendly. The facilities were good, place to change, hot tub was nice, etc.
