“Must See”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

Location is close to town centre. Trail is good quality. Can walk as much or as little as you want. We were only in Rotorua for short time. We were glad we made the time to see the Redwoods Forest.

“Easy access to the great outdoors in a magnificent forest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

Minutes from the city and plenty of parking. Trails are colour coded and suitable for all levels and time frames up to a 30km full day one. We took the green which was lovely with young kids and took a couple of hours with stops. The small coffee trailer only opens at 10.00.

“who knew?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

We never knew there were redwoods anywhere but California but we were very glad to find such a beautiful forest. We went on a short 30-40min hike that wasn't difficult at all.

“Wonderful place to see Redwoods!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

This was a gem of a place to find in Rotorua! The trails are well marked and easy to walk thru. It was not crowded when we were there but it is very big with lots of different trails so I think one would not feel crowded there. The Redwoods are...very tall!! Very impressive too. The office and gift shop were closing when we arrived so I cannot say what they were like. The forest is worth a visit!
