We came here on the recommendation of my son, who had been here before. It is a simple little place, like most in this town, and the menu is short and quite simple. However our selections were well cooked and tasty, and the service is friendly and discreet (girl with the dreads, as another reviewer commented). The beer is good, and while I have had better margaritas (I make a mean one myself), it went well with the early part of the meal before the locally brewed pilsner. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, though my wife commented that the chili con carne was very heavy on red peppers and onions - she doesn't like pimentos much and while she normally leaves them on the side and doesn't make exclusion requests, in this case they were chopped small and difficult to leave at the side. That aside, this was a nice little place and we would happily return when in the area.
