My wife and I just spent a couple weeks in NZ including 5 nights in Bridgewater Bay Apartments situated a couple k's from Paihia.
The apartments are absolutely fabulous done out with marble, finest appliances and furniture. The views are outstanding and the security is excellent.
Definately 5+ stars in every respect and luxury personified - most highly recommended.
The price amazed us in comparison to other accomodation available and we will definatly return to this marvellous venue, and of course fabulous Paihia.
Happy to answer any questions but do plan to write a comprehensive report of restaurants, tours, fishing trips etc, when time permits.
