We endorse other recent reviews:many different places and experiences without having to drive; we learnt lots from the very interesting Local driver; as 66 year olds we just watched the sand boarding down high steep dunes - a great laugh - but the walk to Cape Rienga point was quite easy. Highlights were 1 a visit to Gum Diggers camp (not included in other tours) to see ancient Kauri tree trunks being dug out, and reconstructions of the 19th century camps used by Gum prospectors (it's like Amber), 2 at the end a stop at a fish restaurant for fishnchips in the paper or sushi etc, sitting by a beautiful river as the sun set.
The only downside was the rather bumpy ride the sturdy vehicle gives.
