“Great service but the room was tired.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

The host with the most. Very helpful and cheerful. The rooms were tired and in need of renovations. Quite a few light bulbs were out. For a family unit the kitchen needed a larger pot.
Cold on arrival but once the heater was sorted we were ok.

Very nice guy, great room. Have stayed twice and will definitely again if in Hamilton. I am now filling in words - why do you have write at least 200 characters? Discourages me from writing good short review, I am not someone with nothing better to do (unlike some that simply look for fault so they can write about it)..

My family recently stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. It felt damp and cold when we checked in thankfully the heaters soon fixed that. My biggest problem was that the unit wasn't clean enough. Windows and sils were dirty and mouldy, the net curtains were mouldy. The kitchen floor was sticky ie hadn't been washed for a while. Inside cupboards were dirty, beadspreads felt unwashed. One of my sons needed to sleep in the lounge, the fold out bed was horrible and dirty. All the pillows were horrible. Spare towels were thrown into the bathroom cupboard which was also dirty. The shower door needed a good scrub. I felt like buying a bottle of bleach and giving everything a good scrub!!
Needless to say we will not be staying at Sails again.

The host, Ian is cheerful and immediately comes across as friendly and happy to assist with any queries or requests. The motel is serviced immaculately the bedding and beds clean and comfortable and the environment is quite pleasant and peaceful. I would recommend this motel to business people, families and travelers. It is convenient to the supermarket and city the trees along side in the street make it quite a country comfort feel. 10 out of ten Ian your the host with the most.

Room Tip: The deluxe spa units are quality at a reasonable price the pool and the spa offer a little extra fun...

Finding a place for a sports team to stay can be difficult. Ian made the team welcome and was obliging and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and represented value for money. Ian was friendly and made the team and management welcome. The rooms are a generous size for meetings and dining as a group. Would definitely take the team back.

A colleague and I went on a business trip to Hamilton and stayed two nights at Sails Motor Inn. We found the host very pleasant and really helped with all our venues we had to go to all over Hamilton. Rooms were roomy and clean. Nice spa bath after along day. Had great cooked breakfast.
Most enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: They are all good rooms
