“Pleasant cafe in historic building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2012

We only had coffees and snacks, but excellent coffee and lovely baking of the scones/muffins. Same barista that we had the Cafe Villagio the day before - he seemed much happier today...

Great location, near the centre of Gisborne, in a wonderful historic building - part of the (now defunct?) Poverty Bay Club. Lots of seating in the beautiful interior, or outside, on the lawn or under the verandah.

Worth a visit while in Gisborne!
