I took my GF there for her birthday last night. It did not let us down. The whole area has a sophisticated and very cool ambience, but the staff are cheery and helpful and know their menu back-to-front. The wine list is incredibly extensive and broad. The food was so so great. The standout for ne was the glazed eel entree and for her, the mandarin/pumpkin dessert (sounds a bit weird, but it was preety amazing). The wait between entree and mains was just beginning to be noticable and, like clockwork they arrived, with apologies and a complimentary side. nice touch - it wasn't even that long of a wait. The duck and Lamb mains, I can highly recommend, COOKED TO PERFECTION AND INVENTIVE AND DELICIOUS SIDES. The bill came to about $250 for entrees, mains, desserts and a bottle of wine. Yes, rather expensive, but this isn't your ordinary fare. Possibly could have got a better deal with their tasting menu of 5 couses, but there is less choice in mains
