We arrived about 8.00 pm for an 8.30 booking and shown to the bar until our table was available. We were attended to by a very pleasant young lady and then shown to our table at 8.15pm. The staff were very attentive although the only criticism was they didn't pour our wine. The view was great - watching a helicopter take off and ships coming into port. We had the 6 course degustation which was French onion soup - o.k. Smoked snapper - delicious, Wild Mushroom rissotto which was the standout dish was excellent - boeuf bourguignonne pie which was on the dry side, pity as the flavour was good, a lamb tagine which again was excellent. To finish sticky date pudding with ice cream - I only had the ice cream but my partner said it was very nice. All in all a very pleasant evening - it was very busy for the first setting and quite loud but by the time of second sitting quitened down considerably.
