“Nice food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014 via mobile

We ordered the calamari salad and the seafood food platter. The mussels and calamari are cooked just right. Waitress attending to us was very polite and patient in explaining to us about the menu. It took awhile though for our food to come considering that there were not too many customers in the restaurants. All in all, we enjoyed our food and the nice view of the viaduct from the restaurant.

“Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

We were staying at the Sebel Suites so this restaurant was handy as it was raining. We took a chance and ordered fillet steak and chips and lamb cutlets. Both meals were excellent and the service was good. Would eat here again.

“Not impressed!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014 via mobile

We ate here, the menu looked good however when it arrived it was disappointing, we ordered a steak and the seafood bowl. The pepper sauce was just like a mild gravy so when we asked for some mustard we were told that it would be an extra $1.50, we said no to this as we have never paid for a dollop of mustard ever, we told them we were not happy with this so they then supplied it for free.. Big deal. The seafood pot consisted of three prawns, two scallops about an ounce of fish and five rubbery mussels, the rest was tomato soup... If you want soup you usually order soup, this meal was not good value in fact it was the worst meal we've been served during this trip to New Zealand .

“Lovely main courses”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

We had a lovely meal here on our last night in Auckland. The starters of dips and breads were a little disappointing but the rest of the meal more than made up for it

“Lots to improve”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

Sticky tables, duck meal tough and stringy, not offered dessert or coffee, just the bill the minute we were finished.
When paying, were asked if meal OK and we said no. The comment was , " Oh, was the duck tough and stringy"? Obviously had this comment before.
Great location on Viaduct but lots of work to be done to attract repeat visits
