“Great way to see Auckland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

The 1.5 hour cruise is a good way to see Auckland from the water. However, I wish the seating on the first deck was better so that it wasn’t the bench/picnic style seating (hello I’m wanting to see the sights not have food!) as it wasn't conducive to seeing the sights/taking photos. It didn’t help either when folk stood in front of you because you were over a metre away from the side of the boat!

“Ok, could have gone in a little closer to shore”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We went on the 1.5 hour cruise to get a feeling for the Auckland harbour. Nicely kept boat, however they could improve the upstairs sitting area, it is bench seats that are not really in reach of rails etc should the boat lurch and not comfortable to sit on for very long. Having been on the Sydney harbour cruise I feel this cruise could be improved if the company deleted the 10 minute stop to Rangitoto Island, not really worth the trouble of getting off. It's basically a bush area, and used that time to go in closer to the shore areas like Kohimarama, Mission Bay and Deveonport so you can see the housing and buildings. It was all too far away to see from the boat. Going under the harbour bridge was cool. Nice touch to get a cup of tea on the cruise.

“Starlight Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Went for a cruise on the ferry after our dinner one night in Auckland and what an amazing ride, very professional and caring crew members who take the time to speak to you and make your experience special. The boat was well maintained and clean, crew looked very professional and were obviously highly skilled. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

“Okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Was worth the money and the audio was informative. I would recommend this cruise as it gives a good perspective of the inner harbour and how spread out Auckland is. There were only 12 people on the boat (low season). They offer a complimentary coffee (instant) & biscuit/cake, suggest you get your own before going onboard.

“Cheap, quick Harbour experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

The 15 minute crossing between Devonport and the ferry terminal in Auckland has to be the best value harbour cruise (cruise is a bit of a stretch). A return ticket is $11. I suggest if you're heading to Devonport you check out the WW2 tunnels and views to Rangitoto. If you're heading to the city turn left and check out Britomart or turn right and checkout the waterfront bars and Wynyard quarter.
