Owner description: Parnell Farmers' Market operates every Saturday morning throughout the year, from 8am-12noon. The market is located in the carpark of Parnell's iconic Jubilee Building, on the footsteps of Auckland Domain. Growers, farmers and producers from around the region come to market each week with an extensive range of fresh and seasonal produce. Market goers can also enjoy a freshly made coffee and a bite to eat as they relax and enjoy the market community.

“Disappointed market”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

We were excited to go to the market. My eldest daughter even brought a basket to carry back all the goods after shopping. Once we arrived there we found nothing interesting to buy. We ended up only buying a handful of roses, two breads and A butter nutty..should add more variety of stands..

“Not too great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2012

I always made it a point to visit the farmers market whenever I'm on holiday.

Parnell's Farmers Market was sadly, disappointing. There were only a handful of stalls, and most of these stalls are commercialized/franchised, which contradicts the true meaning of a Farmer's Market.

That being said, the rest of the markets in Auckland Central were not too good either (La Cigale, Britomart). My husband & I managed to visit all 3 markets on the same day.
