First off our booking experience was very poor. We rang at about 1700 and got a recorded message telling us to visit their website. We left a message requesting our booking and then went to the web site and emailed our request. Neither were responded to so later we rang again and this time got our call answered and made a booking receiving no apology for the earlier lack of response.
On arrival reception was very good (We then got an apology in that they had been very busy.but there were only 3 couples in the restaurant) and we ordered Turkish bread, oil and and dip plus a sea food platter. The service was good but the "dip" was like pure salt. The platter arrived along with a nice SSB wine. The platter was very disappointing relative to those we had enjoyed at other venues with tough squid, limp oysters, two very nice scallops, but average fish and prawns we elected not to eat We enjoyed an additional glass of wine but left 50% of the platter.including squid, prawns and fish.
In 3 visits all with very good table service we have now had one excellent meal.and sadly two disappointments. It is a very nice venue but in our experience quality is not consistent. We did advise Mosmans of our disappointment with no feedback other than an email requesting this report that otherwise we would not have written..
