For $99, the hotel wasn't too bad.
When we arrived, I can't say the receptionist was very friendly but she did book a taxi for us.
I did have a problem with there being no lift. The stairs are quite steep and narrow so it was difficult to lug our gear upstairs. We were told that there were no vacancies downstairs.
The bathroom was tiny and water went everywhere, annoying because you can't move the showerhead. The towels were really small [that's saying something for someone who's only 5" tall]. Also we had a problem with the cold water tap falling apart too.
We didn't notice any bad smells like other guests have noticed
Our sheets were clean and the bed was really comfy.
The vending machine was appreciated for a warm beverage at the wee hours of the morning when we left for the airport.
There was internet available on a few computers in the lobby.
I thought the reception hours were really strange but the auto-check-in machine is a good idea - it should be noted that you must have a credit card to use this facility, and the list of people checking in late is a bit hard to see on the door.
Also, when I inquired about payment, I was told it had already been deducted from my CC, however I was not offered a tax invoice.
