I started going to Paul's in April 2013 when I started working in the nearby King Street. Although it's a little trek for me, I get some exercise by getting off at Esplanade station and walking down to St Georges' Tce.
I always order the same thing for breakfast: egg and spinach wrap and a soy flat white. By now the boys know my coffee order and are always polite and friendly. All the staff are polite for that matter.
The options for breakfast are wraps and sandwiches with combinations of eggs, ham or bacon, mushroom and spinach, all prepared fresh that morning. They always have yummy treats in the counter cabinet: caramel slices, cup cakes, macarons, rocky road and countless other things that change each day. At lunch times, they have a wide sandwich selection and there is a fully stocked convenience section where you can buy drinks, chocolate, yoghurt, chips and various other goods. They also have a little snack section when you come in on the left, fruit and nut mix, apricot slice, wasabi peas, in little containers for a good price.
The best thing about Paul's tho, is the coffee. I look forward to that first taste of coffee, after I've eaten the little biscuit they give you, that first sip of perfectly balanced, caramel, just the right temperature coffee is bliss.
