Sad to say this was recommended to me by a friend but the only good thing I can say about the place is that the wait staff were very good.
The menu is smaller than a list of trustworthy politicians. The food was very highly priced with mains averaging around $38 to $40. Now I don't mind paying this when you get a really good feed but sadly no luck there.
The portion sizes were underwhelming with no sides unless you dipped your hand into your pocket for an additional $13 or so. I had Pasta for $38 and received no more than a hand full of noodles a few mushrooms and even though it was advertised as a Prawn dish... well they were no were to be found unless they had been finely chopped and reduced down to a sauce that was waved around the kitchen before the dish was delivered.
And the place was noisy with hard floors and ceiling and limited soft furnishings.
At the end of the meal I was left feeling that I must race home and share the experience. So in summary, I know you pay extra for "Trendy" but you expect more than disappointment for your money.
