I stay here when in Perth now as love the location. Right on the river which means plenty of places to go running in the morning. The hotel is clean, fresh and for me always tidy and presentable. It is a serviced apartment type hotel so no onsite meals which can be a downside if you want room service however there are a number of eateries around which will cater for most tastes. The gym is pretty standard but clean and well equipped and the rooms and always clean. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms presentable. My only issue was no ironing board and i was in a rush so my fauly for not checking but got by ironing on the bench with a towel underneath.
Friendly staff and once more a good location for getting out and about and not far from the centre of town without feeling like you are miles away.

Room tip: Most rooms are quiet but if you want a little more peace ask for one facing the water away from the main road and intersection

This small hotel is fine, and goes for minimal: no minibar, not even bottled water, no restaurant, no shampoo, towel change every 3 days.
But close to several places to eat, and you can charge to your hotel account. Close to the river, and Victoria Park, so good short walks
Has a gym and pool, close to beauty parlours.

We spent a weekend in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it, our view was of Claisebrook Cove very nice. The room had adequate kitchen facilities we didn't use them as there are lots of restaurants in the area for breakfast and dinner also there is free wifi. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was a problem to them. They have parking under the hotel at a cost if you don't want to pay there is street parking which is free after 6pm and in Claisebrook Cove it is free. The free city cat stops across the road it goes to the railway station and Forrest Chase. Definitely would stay again.

We stayed at the Sebel Residence East Perth two times in September.

The hotel is in a great location just on the edge of the city. If you are looking for a pleasant walk, you can walk to the highlights in about 15 - 20mins. Around the hotel is a large array of restaurants that are great for both breakfast and dinner. They do offer a chargeback service to make it easy if you want all on 1 bill.

We stayed at the hotel with 2 kids, the fact that there is a washer and a dryer in the room (also a laundry on the top level) makes it a nice and pleasant stay.

Being on a the water, if you choose a "river" view room, it is a very nice outlook.

Pros:
Nice location
Room is a good size with good amenities
Good range of eateries within walking distance
Supermarket, Liquor Store and Bank all across the road
Easy self parking
Staff are all helpful and friendly

Cons (nothing that would make me not want to stay again in the future):
If you have the river view, there can be some noise from some of the restaurants on a Friday/Saturday night
Not a full service hotel (if you are looking for one)

Overall a very good stay. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Perth.

Room tip: Get a River View room, much better

Dear Addisongreen,

Wow, thank you for such a detailed review we really appreciate the time you have taken.

The Sebel East Perth is really situated in the most ideal location as it is still close to the city and access via the free CAT bus makes this stress free, yet it is so quite and you often forget you are so close to the city.

Thank you again.

Best wishes,

Mandy

This hotel is in a lovely location, with easy access into the city and to local bars and restaurants. It is a quiet hotel with limited services at times. Good for people who are self sufficent including limited/self parking, however, if you are looking for an apartment with a full kitchen and laundry, then this may be for you.

Room tip: Request a quiet room
