We have stayed many times in Perth as a weekend getaway, this was probably the best rate we have ever had through wotif. Extremely cheap & it included breakfast. We ended up with a balcony room, which we didn't expect due to the cheap rate. This was an added bonus as it overlooked some historical buildings & gardens & the view was beautiful. The rooms were quite large and the bed comfy. Yes some of the furniture is a little dated but everything was clean & in good condition so it didn't really bother us. Again due to the low rate we weren't sure what breakfast would be like but it was a full buffet style & we were more than satisfied.
Have already booked another weekend getaway for my partners birthday & because of the great rate have another booked as a shopping trip with my daughter.

Room Tip: Rooms facing onto Hay Street have a great view.

We stayed here overnight for convenience due to an early morning appointment in Perth. Reception staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. We had a room on the top floor (911) which had views to the river (across the roof tops). Room was clean and fairly spacious. Bathroom is a little dated. Large comfortable king size bed with an extra single in the room. Good blockout curtains and no traffic noise meant we got a good night's sleep. Dined in the Armada restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Evening meal was very nice and a reasonable price. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Good selection for breakfast and good coffee. Best value accommodation I could find at short notice (Perth is horribly overpriced when it comes to accommodation) so was happy with the price of this hotel. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and Royal Perth hospital. Would stay again.

Room Tip: No traffic noise on the top floor.

Stayed 1 night while in Perth on business. Was the only hotel i could get at a reasonable rate.
Staff were friendly and polite. Room clean but showing its age. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Airconditioner was noisy and I had to turn it off to sleep. No security screen on balcony door, so could not leave it open for some fresh air. Bathroom clean and well stocked, but in need of an update. Hotel well located to CBD. Taxi hard to get in morning even though it had been booked, so if you are going to the airport, give yourself an extra 15-20 minutes to find a cab. Breakfast was good but not extensive.

Room Tip: Higher level rooms have less traffic noise.

Firstly, Perth is very expensive. I stayed on business, but paying close to two hundred dollars a night for a Travelodge bothered me a bit.

I chose this hotel because of the location, it really suited my needs. My room was on the top floor, overlooking the cathedral, no complaints there, except for a door to the adjacent room.
Breakfast was quite decent, even though the dining room is a bit small. No on site parking, but there is an open air car park about 100m away. The staff tried their best to be helpful, but there usually was only one person at the desk. It did not really help when both the lifts broke down at 8pm and I had to climb the stairs up nine floors. For the rates they charge, they could have put more people on.

Overall, a decent business hotel, but nothing to write home about.

Dear petroff,

Thank you for your review.

Travelodge Perth is a 4 star hotel and whilst room rates in Perth are a bit higher than some other cities in Australia, you will always find us competitively priced.

Please accept my apologies for any issues you experienced with our elevators. We always have one receptionist on our desk and a duty manager as well, so someone is always free to assist with any guest queries.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Travelodge Hotels again in the near future.

As my heading states it's great value for money as its in Perth.

I have stayed here 6 times, unfortunately this may be the last time. I stayed at another hotel on the north side of town on Sunday and it has a lot better value for money in cleanliness and modernness.

Unfortunately, little thinks irritated me this trip.
1. The bed sheets didn't reach the end of the bed, when I jumped in both nights I touched the mattress with my feet as the bed sheets were either too short or bed not made properly.
2. I found a cockroach in the bathroom.
3. The right hand mattress was sunken, based on most people sleeping on that side as that's the side the tv is on. The other side of the bed was much firmer. I would have organised for mattresses to be moved around every few weeks to you get a even use.
4. In the restaurant (this is a comment I
Made last time), in the area where the coffee machine is the cleanliness under the bench is woeful, there are spoons and general dirt on the floor under the bench. As this is in clear view if you sit by the window looking into the coffee machine area it should be cleaned constantly. Obviously cleaning is only done where you can see.

In stating this this is a convenient hotel, however value for money is getting low as I have stayed in better in Perth for less.

Dear fabian1982,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.

Please accept my apologies for the issues that caused you irritation during your stay at Travelodge Perth.

I have passed your feedback regarding the sheets on to the housekeeping manager and asked her to retrain the team on correct bed making procedures. We have full pest prevention measures in place, one cockroach may have slipped through but please be assured there are normally none in the hotel. We rotate our mattresses in accordance with the manufactures instructions. The breakfast service area is cleaned everyday after service, some times during service it can get a little messy but is always cleaned afterwards.

If you would like to discuss your stay with me, please feel free to contact me at jbristowe@travelodge.com.au

Staying here is like staying in a central business district college dorm, the whole place smells horrendous and the walls are paper thin. Also the internet is expensive and very slow? Do not stay here if you are a business traveller, this is a place for guys who work in the mines and just need a place to crash and are used to sleeping in the desert. Steer very clear

Dear ChaseWashington,

Thank you for your review.

I am disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your stay at Travelodge Perth.

Last year we installed new doubled glazed windows in in all our standard rooms to improve their noise reduction and make for a much more comfortable room. In July we will be installing double glazed sliding doors on all our balcony rooms as well although they are already quiet and peaceful rooms. I do not know what smell you are referring to throughout the hotel as all carpets are regularly cleaned as part of our maintenance schedules and we have received no other comments in regards to odours.

We are definitely one of the most competitively priced hotels in the Perth market. You will always get are best rate guaranteed by booking online or directly with us.

For the internet please just connect to the Travelodge network with the strongest network signal and you will enjoy high speed internet.

An ideal city hotel at a very competitive rate. Great having a 'Red Cat' bus stop(part of the free city bus service) right outside the hotel for easy access to Perth Underground and the shopping centre.
Bernard and Kevin on reception could not have been more helpful and courteous. The restaurant manager and waiting staff were all very polite and helpful.
Will definitely stay at the Travelodge again.

Room Tip: It was great having a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel but it can be rather noisy well int...
