A relatively small art gallery who it seems had to borrow art from Kerry Stokes to fill their space. Kerry (male or female?) Had an 'odd' collection of art which was just saved by some pieces by Monet and Picasso. Not impressive at all.
The Aboriginal art was disappointing as there were only a few artists' work. There was however one artist who painted landscapes (Beaver Lennon) who I found exceptional on his depiction of the Australian land. Alternatively, there were other stunning South Australian artwork on display.
They didn't let me carry my water bottle in my hand however I was allowed to place it in my bag. Interestingly, they had a children's art section amongst the art displays where they could use coloured pencils. I think children and pencils are a bigger risk than me carrying a water bottle...
Gift shop was very disappointing as we had dome American tourists who were desperate to buy some souvenirs. Instead the items for sale were 'arty' and ridiculously overpriced. A shame for our overseas friends.
