“Disappointing stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

Thought this was a high end hotel however the service was disappointing on many fronts but one I remember was it was raining & I needed a cab to the airport the valet/door attendant was going to Mage me walk in the rain to the cab instead of asking the cab to drive under the covered entrance it was frustrating & I had to ask for them to drive around. There was a long wye to check in & out it did not seem organized. The room was dull & old. I will not stay there again. Disappointing for such a well known brand.

Was a nice stay with friendly staff, room reminded me a bit of my grandmothers bedroom but was clean. Nice bar Very short stay 1 night, close enough to everything. I would probably check out other places before this one.. Very dated.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and was checked in straight away,we were given a suite on the seventh floor overlooking the swan river.
The staff were warm and friendly and could not have been more helpful.
The room was really beautiful and the amenities in the room were superb .
We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and loved every minute of our stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel for business or holiday stays
Thank you Pan Pacic Perth
Keep up the great service

We feel compelled to share our recent experience as it is beyond belief!!!
*Arrived at the hotel at 2pm to a massive line at Reception, no room available.
*Luggage stored and porter hung suit and ball dress drapped over suitcase on the floor this is just unacceptable.
*Staff on reception lacked emotion & maturity to handle the situation.
*Large dangerous fat spill to walk to/from carpark - disgusting smell.
*Returned at 4pm still massive line and a lot of unhappy customers frustrated.
*Luggage had not been moved. Usual practise is to have any stored luggage sent to the room once available.
*Room downgraded still charged full price.
*Room downgrade not communicated on check in.
*Called duty manager took 45mins to rectify.
*Duty manager was not initially willing to change rooms!!!!???
*New room and floor was inline with expectations as sold by Reservations.
*Room service dinner - Late Menu - served cold chips. To waiters credit he could see they were cold and said they do not look right, he replaced with fresh.
*No newspaper on executive club floor.
*Breakfast - Club Floor - hot food cold, so ordered fresh poached eggs. Finished breakfast and eggs never came????
*Check out - unfriendly and cold.

Will never ever stay again!!!!!

Unfortunatley we landed Pan Pacific in a Mystery Deal on Wotif.com. The only mystery is why does this place have a 5 star rating? Check in time the hotel informed us was 3.00pm. At 4.00pm we had been in a line for an hour just waiting to reach the front counter to check in. No explanation from staff during this time and no one giving directions to the continuous stream of confused people arriving with looks of utter dismay on their faces on seeing the long line before them. A longing glance through the door to the Novotel across the road showed no sign of the poor service we were experiencing. The check in staff were not welcoming and there was no offer of any miniscule or token compensation for the room time we had paid for but spent waiting in a 50 deep line in the lobby . We were getting anxious as we had to get ready for an event which was now rushed due to the tardiness of the check in process. The room did not lift our spirits The bathroom in particular was grotty with flaking paint and mold around the bath. There was no hair dryer and I've stayed at a 3 star in Busselton that has a hair dryer! The facilities at the Pan Pacific are not 5 star and the service is definately not 5 star and we felt we had been well and truly cheated.

I did book this hotel through a deal well in advance and it was only for the one night as we passed through Perth. Through the deal I paid a little more for a Deluxe King Room so we could enjoy the views. On checking in that evening we were told we were being further upgraded which we were very pleased about . The room was pretty good and without fault and located at what would be a quiet part of the hotel as far as people passing by. However the noise from the window was loud and we certainly didn't have a view. Our room overlooked a crane with a new building being built and the noise from 7am was extremely loud. We technically booked a special deal with late checkout at 1pm. I'm very glad I wasn't here for a romantic weekend with sleep in without the kids as I'd have been so much more disappointed. To us it felt like a fake upgrade with the hotel obviously being aware of the huge amount of noise from the construction zone and this was a Saturday morning. After putting TV to block out outside noise we got ready and headed down to breaky. There was a huge and slow queue. The staff were friendly but looked like they could have done with another pair of hands. The breakfast itself was good quality and enjoyable with a terrific variety. The girls at the front desk, the concierge team were all friendly and helpful. We often use a deal to select our hotel of choice for return stays and we are in two minds.

Room Tip: If noise effects you then I suggest making this clear at the time of booking. I'm sorry we only...

I am staying here for the weekend at the moment and it is amazing!!!! I highly recommend booking the club rooms! I am in a club king suite and it huge! Massive lounge room huge bathrooms with walk in wardrobe and the bed and pillows are so comfortable. Also get buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés/alcohol in the club rooms! I paid 280 night and it is definitely worth the money! Amazing rooms with an amazing view! Thank you pan pacific I don't want to leave!
