Although we arrived early, at approx. 10 am, the room was ready. Reception was very friendly and gave us a first information regarding the restaurant/lounge situation of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is not so good. To the centre it is an approx. 20 minutes’ walk. But there is a bus stop of the free CAT bus only 3 minutes away.
We had booked a club room and got a room on the 8th floor with a somewhat limited view to the Swan river. The lounge is on the 7th floor. There are separate elevators for the executive rooms. A room card is needed to use the elevators.
The room is sufficiently big, the bathroom is longish and narrow, the bathtub is too short. There is a scale. Complimentary small water bottles are provided for per bed (one day they forgot to replace them).
Otherwise room service was good. The very first hotel where they noted that, even it was a king size bed, we used 1 set of sheets and blankets each and made the bed accordingly. The two arm chairs are extremely uncomfortably.
The food offer in the lounge is good, the staff attentive and friendly.
Spa: We had massages that were expensive and hardly professional, we almost bathed in oil. Gym: Rather small but the equipment is good.
There is a small swimming pool on lobby level with 10 sun beds. Sunny from approx 10am to 12.30 pm.
Restaurants: We were in the “Origin” once. The service was chaotic, only one lady seemed to be in control of what had to be done where and when. The portions were small, the vegetables hot, the meat lukewarm, the meet quality was good. It did not help that our view was to the swimming pool that was not tidied up.
The “Montereys” offers a buffet, a la carte is possible. We had lunch there and it was quite okay, just too many oily croutons with the Ceasar’s salat. The service was somewhat negligent.
As we had a late flight we asked for a late check out which was not a problem. 1 pm was okay, for every further hour they charge you with 20 § which we found ok. At least better than half the room rate as it is usual with other hotels. They had a bit of a problem to program our room cards to the late check out, but again they were very helpful and tried to do their best.
So we would stay there again.

Thank you very much for your comprehensive review and I am pleased to read that we were able to offer you an early check-in, with our very high occupancy levels this is not always possible. I am glad that you also found our Pacific Club rooms to your liking, - these are our most popular rooms and do rate as the best in the market so it is always pleasing to have this fact justified. I will most definitely take up with the relevant teams on your noted issues relating to the Spa treatment and meals, and my apologies that these seem not to have been one hundred percent to your satisfaction, that being said, I am glad that you still felt the hotel was worthy of another visit.
