“One of two”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

This is one little cafe of two situated in the same alley way (The other being tiger tiger) - Service at the secret garden cafe is very nice and the food is also quite nice - great place to drop in if you are in town for shopping or such as you tend to forget you are in the middle of a big city.

“Its a nice lunch spot if you are in the CBD”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Definitely above the average (hence the score!) but I can't help thinking some of these reviews are a little over the top!!!

Maybe I'm missing something but agree that its a nice hidden away location and fresh food with plenty of healthier options.

“Fabulous coffee, free WiFi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

The Secret Garden Cafe is my pick of the Wolfe Lane offerings. Unlike Tiger Tiger, the kitchen here will cook your eggs however you like 'em, and the coffee is really good, too. The service can be a bit hit and miss, but the baristas are always friendly. Ask for the WiFi password and look out for great-value breakfast specials, particularly on Wednesdays where you'll get eggs, toast and coffee for $10.

“Try their lemon meringue pie!...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

What a great little eatery! The name is an accurate one. We had lunch in the delightful outdoor garden setting at the back of their restaurant. I had their chicken sandwich and a generous bowl of their soup of the day...a delightfully tangy minestrone-type tomato concoction. All of their food items looked yummy but the true highlight was the fabulous piece of lemon meringue pie. Most lemon meringue pie I've tried over many years is too sweet and too much on the gummy/too-yellowish translucent side of the culinary picture. This pie was piled high with zesty meringue and solid in color along the lines of key lime pie with a taste unlike and superior to any previous pie experience in my life! Truly amazing! Their servers were young, professional and friendly. From Oregon in the United States of America, it took me 32 hours to get to this place, but it was worth the trip!
