“Great coffee, tasty food any time of day.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2011

The Imp is my favourite local cafe along the Albany Hwy strip (I go twice a week!). It's a great place to sit and watch the world go by over your favourite style of coffee. Having tried most independant coffee places in Perth I still rate The Imp amongst the best - and more importantly, its consistently good, regardless of barista on duty.

The Imp is a 'Melbourne-Esque' suburban cafe/eatery with a casual atmosphere, it is usually packed for breakfast and dinner on weekends. Lunch is your best bet, but if you cant find a table, a 5 minute wait is usually all thats required for a spot to open up. At night they roll out the Tapas menu and the options are plentiful and interesting. The menu changes regularly enough to keep things fresh.

Service is casual and friendly, and while waits can sometimes be longer than i'd like, I can't say its effected the overall experience.

In summer, try an iced coffee or mocha, it's delicious!
