“Not bad/ reasonable price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Food is not bad and price is reasonable, although the restaurant is a bit small .... Service is good and the food were served to us pretty quick as well ... We will surely visit there again, every once in a while ... There are not many choices from the menu, but we were still quite happy with that, as we got what we like ... Not sure if they take reservation through phone, but if you wanted to go there with friends, probably it's a good idea to reserve table n advance ...

“Delicious and Authentic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

The food was authentically korean and delicious. Reasonable price. Space constraints within the restaurant but didn't bother us.

“Don't eat alone”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

Food was fine, but getting service as a solo was difficult. Maybe just wasn't high enough on the agenda.

“Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Open late morning, 7 days, closes before 9 PM. This bustling small restaurant fills up soon after opening with ethnic Koreans. A jug of water is provided at your table. The polite wait staff are very busy, so be forward about attracting their attention, when required. Delicious spicy pork dolsot bibimbap served with 4 delicious side dishes made for a satisfying lunch. The menu is well structured and features seasonal specials. Mid to late afternoon could be a good time to go if your appetite allows, to avoid queues and delays.

“Tasty and good value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

This review is for the original hole in the wall restaurant on Pier Street, not the newly opened Took Bae Ki 2 on Barrack Street.

The seats are limited and space is a premium, but the food is delicious and service is excellent. There is a new BBQ menu for people who don't eat beef and would like seafood. The wok fried fish on sizzling hot plate was excellent! The standards like bimbimbap and hot and spicy soup were delicious,

I would recommend a meal here anytime, even if you have to wait for a table,
