“Not impressed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

Service was ok but food is slow. Took 40mins for mains to arrive and we were hungry out by then. The steak and pasta we had was a little too bland for our liking. Second try in recent trips and think its a strike out

“The worst Italian in Perth”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

We hadnt been back to Soprano's for years as found the food really bland. We heard there was a new menu (wrong) so decided to give it another try. The garlic bread was burnt but they still served it, the sauce on both the pasta's were tasteless. How can a chef these days send out meals like this without tasting the sauce. I challenge the chef of this restaurant to go to La Lola in Nedlands or Il Pasto 9th Ave Mt Lawey. Its just as easy to make a really good sauce as a tasteless one with no heart in it. We will never go back and would not consider giving them yet another go.

“Fathers Day memorable meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

I went here with my family on Fathers day this year, it was a great find as there was not much open on a Sunday evening. I had a lovely penne arribiata and we very much enjoyed our meal. My Dad was wished a happy Fathers Day which he was very happy with as its little touches that make the difference. We will remember this meal happily for a long time. Thanks.

“Fantastic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2012

My wife and I went to Sopranos on our recent trip to Perth and I had one of the best risottos that I have ever tasted. Both of us could not fault the meal or service. Well done.

“One of those days ?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 29, 2012 via mobile

Service was very good particularly for laid back Perth and the location is good and the ambience more than acceptable with good background music that is never too loud
Pity about the lasagne. Sheets of stodgy pasta with less meat than a Vegemite sandwich smothered in a tomato sauce to cover up the blandness. However second main given which was more than acceptable and my wife enjoyed her pasta
Bad hair day. Bad lasagne day. Will try again sometime
