“A Most Amazing Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Wow! So much history, and so much beauty. The Lake Argyle Resort - stayed in a small comfy cabin. The staff were awesomely helpful and friendly, and I am so glad I went on the Sunset Cruise and swam in the Infinity Pool. It was wonderful to visit the Durack homestead and learn more of the history of this area. It is a not to be missed place. Do not go past - do yourself a favour and call in and stay a few days! I recommend the Sunset Cruise, but I imagine any cruise on this wonderful Lake (or inland sea) would be worthwhile.

“You have to see Lake Argyle!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012 via mobile

Stayed at Lake Argyle Hotel and Caravan Park for $199 for a cabin. Excellent accommodation. Dinner at the hotel was local fish with salad for $27 and decent wine at $6 a glass. The Infinity pool is beyond words - I'll attach a photo if possible. Walked to the old Durack homestead, well worth while and viewed the dam wall next morning - interesting. Overall a 10 experience.

“Afternoon into sunset cruise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

We had the good fortune to be the only ones on a guided tour of Lake Argyle - we saw an abundance of wildlife and the scenery was stunning. Our guide Matt was excellent with his information and we really enjoyed the finale of the swim at sunset accompanied by a glass of wine. Our kids really enjoyed the scramble to find Zebra rocks (yes!) . Best of Argyle tours rocks!

“Sunset cruise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Took a sunset cruise with Lake Argyle Cruises with my girlfriend and we thorougly enjoyed. Relaxing and fun...saw rock wallabies, crocs, eagles etc...went for a swim in the beautiful water as the sun went down, and just had a really nice afternoon. Couldn't recommend it enough, must do the sunset cruise when visiting Lake Argyle. Great photos too...brilliant sunset...take a good camera!

“Lake Argyle sunset cruise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

We went on this cruise with Triple J yesterday. It was $85 each (concession rate) and great value for money. Our guide Graham was a one man band and did an excellent job as bus driver+ skipper+ tour guide+ host! The cruise was extensive, enabling us to really experience the sheer size and beauty of the lake and surrounds, and to appreciate the engineering marvel that is the Ord River Scheme. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed our afternoon tea and also our sunset drinks and snacks.
We recommend this cruise unreservedly.
