I found this place last time I was in Melbourne, just before Christmas in 2012. I was wandering around window shopping and looking for somewhere interesting for breakfast, and thought I'd give this place a try.
I ordered the eggs Benedict and a vanilla latte. The eggs would have just been a simple bacon and egg on English muffins (nice enough as is), but the sauce really made the dish. It was so creamy and tasty, and they were generous with the amount. As for the vanilla latte, I'm not much of a coffee drinker so I'm probably not the best person to ask, however this one wasn't too bitter (a problem with many places), and had a lovely vanilla flavour.
The decor is like an old diner, with leather booths and little juke boxes on each table. It was pretty cool, and leaves an impression.
Staff and service
Staff were welcoming and polite, and I didn't have to wait long to be served.
Overall I give this place a 4 out of 5. I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Melbourne.
