Hadn’t booked a table for a Saturday night and a mate and I had a couple of glasses of wine before we were seated at the end of the bar. Waiter was very helpful for the menu and we placed our order. He came back and advised they had one serve of the suckling pig left which wasn’t on the menu so we got that instead of the duck curry and weren’t disappointed. Perfect mix between crispy skin, moist meat and good accompaniment in the puree (I think apple and fennel) and not too much fat. Entrees were share plates of crab betel leaves, harissa lamb cutlet, beef rib and sugar cane prawn all of which were delicious with the beef and prawns being the absolute stand out. The sommelier was also very helpful with the wine and again recommended a special “off list” red to accompany our meal which was amazing. Great food, great wine, top service and nice ambience. Highly recommend and will be back for that duck curry.
