We went to the Spaghetti Tree in Bourke St instead of going to Lygon St Resteraunts (wherewe normally go). We found the waiting staff very good (the best part of our experienceat the Spaghetti Tree). My neice and myself had Fetticini Matriciana (the sauce was very basic and as far as the pasta goes .It was so short you couldn't twirl and pick it up properly and it was over cooked).
My neices boyfriend had the porterhouse steak (it wasn't cooked to his liking and the vegtables were very scarce). My mother inlaw Had the gnocci (she said the gnocci itself was good but the sauce was very averege). My wife had the tortellini (the sauce was quite nice but the pasta tasted like it was bought). But my two youngest sons had the calamari and salad and they said it was very nice.
Overall our experience on the night was very dissapointing.
