I have been a regular customer at namaste for a few years now, i have eaten indian food all over melbourne, from the CBD to Burwood and down to Geelong...this is by far the best. Namaste is small and unassuming, tucked away in Bundoora you would hardly know it exists unless your a local but it is a gem. First of all unlike many indian places it is perfectly CLEAN the place is totally spotless, the staff are very kind and friendly as soon as i walk in they are always saying ''hello james!'' (my nickname) The food itself is amazing i have tried most things on the menu and i cant fault any of it...you can choose if you want most dishes mild, medium or hot, which is great because i love hot food but some of my white friends cant handle it..After going there for years i can say that the standard has not dropped at all...the food is just as amazing. As for the price, its not cheap but its not overly expensive for what you get and the quality, its a place thats often full of people so if you want a table on a friday or satday night book in advance cuz they go pretty fast, think its well worth it...Dont bother with the indian places in fairfield or sydney road...try namaste, you wont regret it.
