“Good food terrible ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

Lovely food but terrible lighting. Dim central strips. Not dim in a romantic way more like a "can't read the menu" way!

“One of the best dinner I've ever had!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Great food! Great service!great wine and lovely atmosphere!
Went there on a Thursday night with a friend we had honey smoked turkey, the strozzapreti pasta and gnocchi, a porterhouse steak with a Tuscan wine..it was delicious, the staff kitchen included was fast and efficient. Really happy about it.

“Good food and wine but overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant. My wife started with a fritto misto followed by braised beef cheeks. These were both really tasty. I started with a turkey salad with an excellent dressing. My main course was a fish risotto, also both dishes were well presented and tasted delicious. With 3 glasses of local Shiraz the bill with tip came to 180 Australian dollars. This was rather expensive even though the quality was pretty good. The waiters were friendly and the atmosphere excellent. The relatively large numbers of vacant tables probably reflected the overpricing.

“Nice food & dining”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

The Restaurant was talked up by my colleagues who took me to dinner on a work trip. The service was great. A great private room upstairs which was a nice touch, not having to compete with the whole restaurant to talk. The Beef Cheeks were tasty & tender! Slightly overpriced in my books for value for money.

“Nothing special but perhaps December 'party time' is a bad time to eat here.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Friends chose this place for convenience to our hotel. None of us had tried it before. It turned out to be average in every way and seemed to me an Australian/Italian restaurant like so many in this city of apparently Italian restaurants. Being a few weeks before Christmas the time of the year meant it was busy and full with office groups preparing for the holiday to come. Perhaps that is why the service and the kitchen struggled a bit. But there was nothing memorable except our own company.
