“Belgian Beer and more!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

We've been here before in it's previous life as a 'Belgian Beer Cafe' and again since it changed to the Village. There's less Belgian beer now (somewhat obviously) but still a good selection of craft beers to choose from. On this visit (on a Monday night), we chose a number of items from the 'beer food' list and shared them - interesting choices and nicely executed. A few months ago, we came on a different night and also had the choice of a number of food vans set up outside.

If you like your beer a little off the beaten track then this place is a must!

“Nothing special though a nice environment.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

The setting is lovely and the service is very good. However, the croquettes were not great at all. The meats were also not too great and the fries very greasy.

“Best New Years”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

Coming from the UK, we were desperate to see our Aussie New years in style.
We had come for a drink before and it had a pleasant friendly atmosphere and decided we would go there for new years.
As we arrived the queue was all down the road, which allowed you to speculate how good this venue was.
The staff were attentive, and although with guests of around 400-500 they were quick to serve and very polite.
It has such a lovely spacious beer garden and tables, with a note of elegance of the place.

But most importantly this is definitely a haunt to try if you are a fan of beers as they have some lovely Belgium Beer for the Belgian in you!

“Great beer garden, food could be a little better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

Great spot for afternoon drinks in the sun. I was a bit disappointed in the meal that I chose (gnocchi), but other dishes looked great. The staff were simply brilliant, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Management should be proud.

“Really interesting and lively place with great craft beer and tasty food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

Came here on a tripadvisor recommendation as it was across from my hotel and ended up eating here several times. Its a lively place - especially at the weekends when outside is heaving. Inside though there is still a restaurant area with table service so even solo travellers can find a cosy corner. The bar is done in the style of a brauhaus so has good craft beer - i especially liked the Two Birds Taco (wheat beer with lime, coriander and corn). I tried both the tapas bar dishes and the fish catch of the day and really enjoyed it all.
