“Fresh and tasty in the finest Lebanese traditions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

Lovely Lebanese food in a nice setting. Alba came around the restaurant and asked everyone how their meals were. I had a peek in the kitchen on the way out and it was full of Lebanese mums cooking and chatting away. Very nice.

“Worthy of its longstanding reputation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

My first visit to Abla's in possibly a decade, in the company of a visiting Iraqi friend with a passion for Lebanese food. A really excellent lunch - terrific value banquet at 60$ per head that provides a range of deceptively simple traditional dishes that are each prepared with exquisite care. My friend reminisced about holidays in Beirut in the 1970s and rated the food on a par with the best currently found in the Middle East. The ambience was relaxed for a weekday lunch - not glamorous, but highly professional service. All that it's cracked up to be, and definitely somewhere to revisit soon.

“Great home style food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013 via mobile

Took a group of visiting Omani engineers here based on TA reviews. Small restaurant with very enjoyable home style Middle Eastern food that the Omanis enjoyed very much. Staff were very accommodating and kindly stayed open later than they normally would..... Wine list was small but solid with pricing appropriate to the restaurant, though if after a special wine better to bring.

“Totally worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

I love the familiar ambience of this restaurant. All staff seem to be from the same family, so they treat you very well as they want to keep their business. The main chef, which is a lady, comes to all tables to make sure everything is fine. The food is fantastic and tasty, you can almost taste the love they put in every dish. Every recipe is a success. We've been three times already but I can't wait to come back!

“a feast of the senses”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

booked Abla's soley based on reading Tripadvisor reviews. This was a test of both Tripadvisor and Abla's. Both passed with flying colors. It was everything we expected based on what we read. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, well priced. Can't get better than that
