Our second 3-night stay, and we would happily return. Pleasant, efficient front staff; spacious, clean, comfortable 1br apartment, all key amenities for in-room breakfast (or use attached "Keyif" or nearby 566 Cafe). Good quality, comfy twin beds on high floor as requested, but the view was into a carpark opposite and our room was above aircon motors on a roof below, which meant it was not as quiet as expected unless we kept the balcony door shut and used the interior air con. 30 mins free wifi internet per day included, but only in public lobby, where signal was bad - alternative is paid desktop in lobby or byo dongle. Location close to river, Crown, Southern Cross Station but immediate area a bit run down; however, great for using the free city circle tram which stops across the road and easy walking to central CBD area.

Room Tip: Higher rooms facing the river above Flinders Street may be better than "quiet" rooms at th...

Stayed for 4 nights in one bedroom apartment to attend conference at the convention centre. 5 minute walk to convention centre, 15 minute walk to Bourke Street Mall. Room clean and relatively new. Only complaint is from my husband about the bed being too short ! Wifi available for $22 per night which we did not want to pay for. Lots of eateries nearby ranging from pizza and sushi to Vue de Monde. Staff friendly and helpful.

Booked a one bedroom apartment through hotelclub.com. Got it for a good rate so not sure if i got a smaller one bedroom apartment because of this, however was quite nice inside regardless.

If you have a car, it can be initially difficult to find a spot to park so you are able to check in and organise parking through the hotel, had to do a few laps, which can be annoying in peak hour traffic.

Parking is $25 which may seem steep, but the options around you average around $15 an hour, so works out to be good value. The foyer inside the hotel is very nice, staff were very quick to attend to us and check-in team were fantastic. Explained everything, and we were on our way.

As i said before, the room itself was a little smaller than i expected but had everything we needed. The most important thing was that the king size bed was extremely comfy, so made for a good nights sleep. There was a balcony, however the view was of another building across and also the roof of another below, so not much to look at.

Great location, there is a tram stop pretty much outside the front of the hotel to get you where you need to go around the city.

Best part of the stay was the room service. There is a small restaurant/cafe downstairs that offers room service. The delivery fee of $2 for orders under $50 is excellent. But once you read the menu you will spend more. It was delivered in take away containers, but as we were in the apartment we had all cutlery, crockery etc at our disposal. Food was fantastic, and for such a big order came up very quickly.

All in all, had a great time in the hotel, everyone we encountered were helpful and had a great nights sleep.

Room Tip: I had room 1012, which seems slightly smaller than the pictures of a "one bedroom apartment&quo...

This hotel is in a great location 5 -10min walk to the Melbourne Exhibition and Conference centre, Casino and stadium. Have stayed here in the past and enjoyed the connivence of the location. Short walk to southern cross station to catch bus to airport. Only issue was one lift was broken down with only one operational which mean some waiting in peak times. Not able to use the fire stairs. The hotel has good security with doors locked at 8pm with pass only access.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay from check in to checkout. The rooms were spacious well appointed and the second bathroom was a surprise. It could do with a TV in the second bedroom though. Plenty of spare power sockets for recharging all the gadgets. Awesome view of docklands and Southern cross station, watching the hot air balloons in the morning from the balcony with a coffee was the perfect way to start the day. Security was well covered and we felt safe, I would feel very safe staying in this hotel alone. The gym was well appointed with high end equipment. The pool was looking a little tired and in need of repairs, the ladder was difficult to use and the floor was very slippery. Although there was a chair lift up to the pool deck if you had anything but a very minor disability getting in or out of the pool would be impossible. The spa was very enjoyable after a day of wandering through the city. Car parking was reasonable for the city at 25 day, we were able to leave the car there for a few hours after checkout to attend an appointment in the city at no charge. I will be back for sure, the central location and closeness to the station are a real drawcard. They don't have a restaurant but have a deal with the café next door and the food is great and reasonably priced, you can charge back or have room service. We were on the 11th floor facing Spencer Street but it was very quiet.

My sister and I stayed here for a week in April 2013. Close to Spencer street station. We were able to easily walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Good size apartment for 2.Clean and well equipped. Balcony is glass front took a bit of getting used to looking out on the 12th floor. Is opposite train line and tram route but once inside with door closed noise not an issue. A circle tram stops right out side to take you around the metro area and is free. If I was going again I would book tours ahead of time. Fed square offers a free city walking tour 4 persons max per group . Take you to some great hidden gems and is a great start your holiday.Staff friendly
