We stayed at Milano Serviced Apartments in May 2013. Convinient location, very much near to CBD and Queen Victoria Market. Smooth check in. Helpful and coperative staff. We were 2 families, booked an apartment online. We were told that it will be bit smaller for number of occupants; and offer upgradation for 25 AUD per day for more spacious one. We upgraded. It was good one; with all facilites in good order (such as kitchen, oven, toaster and washing machine). Spacious living room. Only problem is only one bathroom. Accomodation of this standard should have one bathroom for each bedroom, that what I feel. The two twin beds were joined together to form one queen bed. But it was no problem. The feel was just like queen bed. Most enjoyable for kids is heated swimming pool. We, adults also enjoyed it most. Just immediate neighbourhood is grocessary shop. Most important is location of hotel.

The location is near to Victoria market and the tram station.only one stop distance to melbourne central . The service was good that our apartment was arrange and clean everyday except sat &sun.besides that,The reception staffs were friendly and helpful.milano apartment is good in overall.
However, the access keys we got has some problem.only one of them able to access at 7th floor. It's quite inconvenience for us as we could only go and leave together. it's not impossible for us to go separately .

When a group of six friends booked the Milano, we asked for two rooms on the same level, upon arrival we were told that this was not possible and four stayed on the 8th floor and two on the 10th floor. Throughout the weekend we had no access to one another, only by phone, due to the fact that we were not offered an elevator key that gave us access to each others floor. My room 1011, as I entered the bathroom entrance looked as though it had been flooded and the walls were filthy. We pulled a quilt out of the closet and it had crusty stains on it! Not very clean at all. Look location is one thing, however cleanliness is very important. I would not stay here again, a very disappointing weekend and staff that were vague with regards to time and travel.

Room Tip: We only had two and I would not recommend rooms 804 or 1011

We arrived in the morning but can only check in at 2pm. The lady at reception was very busy hence we waited for a while like 20 minutes before we get into our room.

We got a 2 bedrooms apartment and didn't expect it comes with only 1 bathroom. It was a little bit inconvenience as I was travelling with my bf and his family. Moreover, One of the lock of the bathroom was spoiled.

Cleanliness: 5/5
Wardrobe, bed sheet, bathroom, kitchenette, sofa, everything was clean. We stayed for 3 nights and they do housekeeping everyday.

Environment: 5/5
It is located in the city, you can reach Melbourne Central with a short walk. There is a grocery store next to the hotel and a few car rental agencies nearby within 5 minutes walk. With about 10 to 15 minutes walk you will reach to a 7-11 and some eateries.

Facilities: I couldn't rate because I didn't use any of it but I saw they have swimming pool and tennis court.

View from the room was OK. We have the front room that has a glass wall facing outside. We can look into the office building next to us which makes us feel a little uncomfortable thinking can they see us like how we saw them.

Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely stay there again during my next visit to Melbourne.

Very convenient as it is located in the city. Service was excellent as there were everything inside the room including washing machine and dish washer. Suitable if staying with the families and a group of friends as the room also provide sofa bed besides of one king bed size and two single bed. Bad thing just that they didnt provide free WiFi for those who are staying inside.

When we went looking for a two bed apartment hotel with a very central location in Melbourne for under $200 P/N very few options popped up. We didn't necessarily want a full kitchen etc but we did want two bedrooms... This hotel fitted us perfectly. Pros ... came in on budget, good position, clean, facilities nearby and good ones in hotel (although we didn't use them) really friendly helpful staff, easy on-line booking process.
Cons ... noisy whistling plumbing but very quiet during the night, Wi-Fi ($12.50 for 24 hours) inconsistent and kept disconnecting (we cancelled, no charge) carpet could be repaired, opaque glass door into 2nd bedroom means it cannot be light controlled, 2nd bed also no robe or dresser. An information pack/booklet would have been great also.

Anyone needing more privacy and versatility than a large hotel room offers then this is a good choice, although decor wise it's a tad bland it certainly worked for my sister and me. Just so you know, there are no shampoos/conditioners supplied, just a few small soaps. However there is detergent etc in the kitchen and a washer/dryer combo in the bathroom.

My husband was here on business, so I so much appreciated the nice gym, pool, and hot tub to use on days he was working. Super location, and right next to Aldi's, which helped us affordability wise. Nice walk to wonderful restaurant choices and nice, safe, clean area. Room a bit small (one bedroom), but otherwise very nice; I could wash and dry my clothes before heading out for another week of vacation. Price seemed reasonable.
