“House tour a must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

House tour was fascinating and the grounds are beautiful to relax in with a picnic or a coffee and cake from the cafe!

“Great old house”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

The setting is quiet and gardens lovely. The residence is preserved as it was as residence. We enjoyed the function room in the Garden for a birthday party.
Victorian artifacts in the house educational and well displayed.See some early Melbourne history and try to imagine it as it was surrounded by farmland and river only!

Brilliant slice of history and heritage. The house and grounds allows people get a glimpes of days gone by.

“Antique and Awesome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

It's beautiful, truly gorgeous, smaller but on par with Ripponlea and Werribee. It has some exhibits occasionally and have seen some wonderful art there but worth a visit simply for the antiques, the setting, the rooms and the grounds.

This venue is smaller compared to others but is a lovely piece of history with manicured gardens to enjoy.
