“Flavour explosions and extremely satisfied taste buds!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014 via mobile

I went to this place with a friend and he described the food as a flavour explosion. It was that plus so much more. The best Asian inspired food I have tasted on Melbourne! That's a big call considering the amount of restaurants in Melbourne but this was so good we just kept ordering more.
Do yourself a massive favour and go here. You will not be disappointed!!

“A hidden treasure! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

We visited RPS at lunch time. It was busy but we're glad we waited!

We enjoyed the betel leaf, crying tiger, lamb ribs, pork scratchings and black caviar.

We also enjoyed crush drinks and vietnamese iced coffee.

The service is impeccable, the meals not only delight the taste buds but are very aesthetically pleasing too! Served in unique and cute little dishes, this is a restaurant with character and flavours that just pop we will definitely return!

“It's overrated!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

Why diners in Melbourne always rush to try new places??? This place is overrated and I don't think it's worth queuing for - 20 minutes!!!!! They open at 6pm but if you happen to be there earlier, they will ask you to come in, order your drink and... they will tell you that the kitchen only opens at 6pm - this is so bad!!! Tried to get in a few times but to no avail so got in tonight and seated away from other noisy diners. The only dish that is worth ordering is the lamb ribs. Had five other dishes but they were only so so. The beef wasn't well seasoned and the fried chicken wasn't marinated long enough. The roast duck betel leaf taste quite bad Definitely, not a place we will rush back

“Brilliant Tappas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

Had read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor and was very keen to try. Waited till about 9pm before we arrived and was seated outside immediately. Met a local couple who guided us through the best items to order. Go for the 5 selection at a cost of $49 and you can pick from quite a few dishes. Best were 'Son in law eggs' bettle leaf, ribs are to die and 'crying tiger' as well as pork buns. Flavours and combinations were fantastic. Go there for sure if you are in Melbourne . Will definitely return
