Scienceworks is great for an afternoon/while day outing. There are loads of interactive things to play with, it is very child friendly and there is a lovely outdoor space.
Fabulous value and even better if you join Museums Vic for an annual pass.
Great for little and bigger like me to play with science with smaller kids. Easy parking and access of westgate freeway.
Pretty old and dingy displays, and I thought the children's area was poorly managed. I did not see any staff up there so there was no one (aside from neglectful parents) there to ensure the children were safely 'playing'.
I love the array of events and activities throughout any given year at this museum. I try to visit each time I'm in Melbourne.
The Wallace & Gromit activities were creative, good fun and educational. At any time, it's worth a visit - with adults or kids.
