“Yum!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

Delicious. The texture of the gelati is silky and smooth. The rotating flavours always include a couple of safe choices that you know will be delicious (such as creme brulee) and a couple of more risky options if you're feeling brave (such as haemoglobin gelato).
Really, you'd like to come here fortnightly or so, so that you could try a variety of flavours and be prepared to try some potentially dodgy ones.
The serving sizes are pretty big, so if you're there with someone special, you could easily get a flavour each and share!

“Meh”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

This is a novelty experience. It's very exciting watching the process of the ice cream being made, but at the end of the day it's really expensive & not all that tasty. I've tried four of five flavours and only ever liked one.

You'd be much better off to go to Helados in Carlton.

“Awesome funky concept!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013 via mobile

We entry last month during their first week but they didn't even have a profile yet for us to write a review!
Fantastic flavours, the smoothest ice cream I've ever had, lovely helpful staff, and cool setup!

“Dessert & a show for $6!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

We were fortunate enough to find the first N2 Extreme Gelato shop (Sydney) in its first few days of opening in August 2012 and have been loyal customers ever since! Now that they have opened in Melbourne too (August 2013) we now have even more reason to visit - we're local :)

The gelato flavours change weekly and become more exciting with every menu change! The playful manner in which the gelato is made is only half of the experience - the silky consistency of the dessert is the rest! One scoop is never enough for the eyes, but is definitely enough for the palate - rich, delicious and filling!

Be warned, you will be addicted after the first taste :)

“Freshest and Silky Smooth!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Despite the long queue, it was worth the wait. The ice cream was made on the spot and not scooped from a tub in the freezer. How much fresher can it get? And the texture, wow, soooo smooth and silky yet not without substance. They have all kinds of funky flavours but I like the mango sorbet best. Every spoonful was like biting into a ripe luscious mango. Definitely a must visit if you're around the area. Location is very convenient. Many interesting restaurants around so you can made it your dessert place after dinner. Take note, it only opens from 1 pm.
