A friendly young Irish couple staff the desk and are part of a trouble-free, all-round package. The apartments, comprising living room/kitchenette, bedroom, hall and bathroom are ideal for self-caterers, as the restaurants in Melbourne are quite expensive, so this is a huge advantage. The downside is that the nearest Coles supermarket is quite a long way away (in Elizabeth Street).
We tried to avoid using the AC and it´s possible to open two small windows. However the noise from other AC units was quite loud when the windows were open. Security is good; a special key is required to use the elevator and the door to the stairs can only be opened from inside. The apartments are serviced daily. We can thoroughly recommend these apartments.
The lower floors have no view or a bad view. Even the view from the upper floors is not always good...
