Till I had not done the Great Ocean Road, it seemed more like some fancy drive along a sea coast. However the highlights of the Great Ocean Road is the rock formations along the ocean. Over millions of years, nature seems to have carved out these rock formations which stand along the coast line, capturing years of history in them. Looks very much like the Grand Canyon except that these rock formations are along the coast. Must do the helicopter ride for a birds eye view of the rock formations. There are also very good boardwalks which give a very good close glimpse of the rock formations
